Laser Range Finders
On a trial run, the team discovered that Stanley's new laser range finders weren't up to code: short distance ranges were grossly miscalculated (short distance = 1..5'; long distance = 6—100'), and Stanley's front bumper suffered as a result. The team members researched replacement options, and they asked if we could look at their notes and give them some advice about what do do. Here are their notes:

TESSCO Technologies renowned industry soln
Binoculars.com cheap
Amazon.com sketchy
build—your—own check seattlerobotics web site
Laser Technology Inc. see Vectronix
Optics4Birding ISO 9000 cert.
army—technology.com good stuff
BobWards.com primarily Canon solutions

How should they fix Stanley's range finders?
